I’m going into middle school next year and I have to choose between Spanish, French, or German. I want Spanish or French, but I don’t know which to choose. I know Spanish a little, and I know it’s more useful. But I like the sound of French(:
So which do you think?

currently im learning spanish an i love it. but i would recommend you learn french. the reason is because of what you said . you like the sound of it. i like the sound of russian too. ive learned a few words of russian an you just feel cool saying the words . im guessing you have the same reaction. i guarantee that a future boyfriend wil love hearing you speak in french. both languages are useful . i think french is definitely really useful near canada. the other thing to take into account is that there are a lot of people going toward spanish so this may separate you from the crowd. i also think you more likely to learn a lot of french. i would recommend you go until you are fluent. if you go to a job you want to be able to say i speak this language not i know a little of it.

More countries speak Spanish, so I think taking Spanish would help you in life a little more.

I guess it depends on your preference. If you live where there is an excess of spanish speaking individuals, I’d say go with Spanish just for the advantage, but if not then why not go with the prettier sounding language.

If you live in france, french first.
if you live in america, spanish first. Both are beautiful languages but go for the one that will help you in the long run. I remember in 6th grade my counselor made me take spanish even though I wanted drama, I was mad at first. But it was such a great experience. Now I’m in high school and my friends that take spanish dred it, but I think it depends on the teacher.
