I am a British university student. I am on a gap year between years 2 and 3 (4 yr degree). I am studying linguistics.

I would love to do a month immersion course in spain studying spanish but there is one problem: I have no money!

Any ideas about where I can look for funding? I have searched *everywhere* including the EU website, Erasmus, British council, europe aid, everywhere. If you can find an organisation that will provide a grant to study abroad, i’ll be eternally grateful!
Ok Get a job? Nice answer! I’m working 40 + hours a week but that’s gotta go towards rent/uni next year, etc.

I’ll need something to subsidise that. Don’t think I’m sitting on my behind.

Student loan: i’m sorry but I don’t get one on my year off. i won’t receive it till sept

y don’t you get a loan? i don’t think that anybody would offer you funds… try the gov
